Cut the vegetables into small pieces (not exactly diced, but small), and cut the ham up into small bits too. Then throw those into a pan and start heating that up, mixing the stuff around occassionally. Sometimes when I am lazy I use frozen vegetables.
Scramble the eggs in a different bowl (you can add milk or water if you like) and then throw those in with the ham and vegetables. Keep mixing the stuff together, like you would to make scrambled eggs.
Once everything is all nice and heated up and the eggs are scrambled, throw in the rice and stir that into the mix. When the rice is pretty well mixed in, throw in the butter a little bit at a time in different places. It's strictly to add some additional flavour, so use your own judgement there.
When everything is nicely mixed and steaming, it's ready to eat.
As you can tell, this makes A LOT of Rice-n-Stuff. I can generally get about four meals out of it, so I freeze about half and eat it later.
